About Us
The Friends is a registered charity dedicated to the preservation, restoration and beautification of Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-upon-Avon, the Church in which Shakespeare was both baptised and buried and where his remains now lie.
The Friends exist to ensure that the Church is preserved for future generations of worshippers and visitors and provide an opportunity for people worldwide to join us as custodians of our shared heritage.
Trustees & Patrons
The Trustees of Friends of Shakespeare's Church offer their deep condolences to the family and friends for the recent sad loss of Quentin Willson who was a much valued Patron of our charity for many years. You will see here on the website, the film which Quentin made of Holy Trinity showing his personal interest and commitment to the church. We are very grateful for all his support and he will be much missed
